![]() Little Texas Ranch Info
Nestled in the Catskills, in a sleepy little hamlet called Obernburg, New York, Little Texas Ranch is a piece of Sullivan County history. Little Texas Ranch has undergone many changes since it was built by Jim Greier in 1961 as a Country & Western Dance Club and Restaurant and a new home to the "Haylofters," his Country-Western Band (now called "The Texans") on his Grandparents' farm. It quickly evolved into a Dude Ranch by popular demand, where for over twenty years guests from all over the world had a chance to become cowboys!
Ever since we closed our doors in 1987 to spend more time raising our three children, people have been asking us to reopen.
![]() Our dude ranch days are gone forever (that's a young man's business for sure!), but we've reopened Little Texas Ranch as a banquet/catering hall for private parties for a select clientele, with a new kitchen, new bar, new restrooms and an updated dining room, overlooking our 200-acre horse farm - and the fun's beginning all over again! Let us help you plan your next party or reception!
